In April, Ava is going to be 7.
Seven.
Siete.
hmmmm. Even in another language, it doesn't seem right!
Here is a little update on our girl.
She is sweet, kind, loving and an absurdly good sister.
(I say absurd, because I too, was once a big sister. But I was not a good one at the age of 7.)
She takes care of Madeline & Asher. She loves them & tries to help meet their needs. Without being asked. She just has the need in her to help others!
Right now she is involved with cheer through the Upwards program & karate, in which she is now a yellow belt!
She is in the first grade & doing very well with homeschooling!
We are so proud of her & can not wait to see God's plan for her unfold!
Since I am going to try to get back to blogging, I thought I would give an update on our Madeline Grace.
Well this little one gave us a lot of worry and concern during my pregnancy and after she was born.
She is doing wonderfully! We are so blessed, because we were chosen by our amazing, all knowing God, to be her mom and dad.
All of her tests have come back great and we are almost to the point where she will not need the blood tests every 6 weeks anymore... time does fly.

So these pictures are for the doctor who said we should talk about "options".
They are for the resident who said "Hope she does better then this" on the day of her discharge.
But mostly they are for the parent who will come across our blog after their child has been diagnosed with an omphalocele or Beckwith Wiedemann Syndrome.
Here is our miracle at age 3!

On June 16th 2011, we welcomed our little Asher. My how time goes by so quickly. Here we are on the eve of his 8month birthday!
We are so blessed to have you, Asher! You have brought a lot of joy, peace and healing to our family! We love you and cannot wait to see what God has in store for you!
OK. It has been way way too long since I have dusted off the old blog & posted anything. I am actually kicking myself, because this blog was a great way to keep our family memories, as I am terrible at keeping track of those things (as well as blogging!) The reason I am picking it up again, is because I started looking back at what a great outlet it was for me to write about what was happening in our lives & the ways God was working. Blogging is how I got through my pregnancy with Madeline & her first year of life! It was a way to unload my heavy heart at the time & be able to pour out what we were feeling.
Even if no one ever reads this, it is worth it for me to try to keep it up!
So here I go take 2 on blogging our life!
