It has been WAY to long and I need to get myself together!

My goal is to get at least 2 blog post up per week until I am all caught up!
It might be a while because we have been sooo busy and we have so much to share!
The good news is... IT IS SPRING so we have had lots to do...
No more sitting around in the house! YIPEE
God has been good by blessing us with some beautiful weather... we even wore shorts a day or two!

Spring is FINALLY here! (pay no mind to the snow we just got!)
But on 2 of the 3 semi-nice days that Michigan sees in March we made it to the zoo!
One of the things that got me through my pregnancy and the first weeks home with Madeline was the thought of all of the fun things we would do in the spring and summer and the zoo was one of them!

Well it only took a few months :) but we finally finished moving all the rooms around!

My girl is 4 years old today! I can hardly believe it!

Ava,
We love you so much!
You mean so much your daddy and I.
We are proud to call you our daughter.
You, are a light and a gift from God.
You are always happy to see people... You make them feel good by running up to them and shouting their name... That is a good little gift!
You are my little salve.
You have a way of cuddling right up to me when you think I might be feeling sad.
In fact, the night we came home without your sister, your presence was healing to me.
You cuddled right up and fell asleep in my arms... That night I slept so sound and peaceful.
We are so thankful that God gave us you... not a day goes by that we are not entirely grateful.

My girls are so blessed to have the best Auntie and Uncle on the planet!
They are such wonderful people and they love Ava & Madeline so much!
And we love THEM so much...
