Hi Everyone!

Hope all is well!
We have been so busy lately and we haven't had time to update...
so here is what we have been up to!

We have been making cookies.......

Riding the carousel at the mall.......

Going to birthday parties GALORE (5 in the past month!)......

They made the littlest one tired! .....
Getting AFP tests & ultrasounds... ALL CLEAR THANK YOU VERY MUCH, JESUS!.....

We went to Pump it Up with our friends........

Maddie did not appreciate that one!......

Ava found her love for the SNUGGIE... she wants one for her birthday!.......

Maddie is dreaming of the baby one right here :) ........

And Maddie learned how to wave!
I am kidding...I think...
Seriously, everytime we wave to her she does the above move!
What a smartie pants!

I can't believe how time flies!
Madeline is officially 3 months old today!
She is doing so great and she is a joy!
We are so blessed!

I can't believe we are already a month into 2009! It has already been a whirlwind.

We are so looking forward to what 2009 has in store for our family, but we cannot look forward to 2009 without looking back at 2008 and all of the wonderful miracles it brought us.
2008 will be a year that we will not soon forget.
It was a year that I know I grew the most as a mother, a wife and most of all a child of God.
It was a year filled with hope, love, fear, grace, heartbreak, and growth.
2008 was the year I learned what trusting in God really means. We had to rely on God in a way we never did before.... blindly.
We just had to give up. Let Him be in control and know that no matter what happens, there is nothing we could do, but put it at His Feet.... We didn't go easy though. There were tears and anger and shouts and prayers. But finally, just as we were ringing in 2009 we got it. There is nothing that WE can do.... but HE can do everything.
And He loves us.
And He will do everything... actually, He already did.

2008 was the year we welcomed our precious baby girl Madeline.
She has already grown so much! She is smiling and cooing and interacting with us.
She is beautiful and special and we are so blessed to have her as part of our family!
2008 is the year we saw Ava grow so much and start to become an individual.
She tried soccer and dance and started speech.
She is sweet and caring and really really fun!

We have been so blessed in 2008 and it would be impossible to ignore that God had everything to do with it!

Here are some pictures from Christmas and now the new year.

Going to see Santa... He didn't even phase Maddie!

Ava about to open her new doll house from Grandma and Grandpa Peruzzi!

I think she liked it!

Ava & Maddie and all their swag!

Smilie Maddie! She loves her big sissy!

Madeline had her first blood test a couple of weeks ago and her levels came back normal! Yea!!! For those of you who don't know, because of Madeline's diagnosis with Beckwith-Wiedemann Syndrome, she must have her AFP levels tested every 6 weeks until she is 4 years old to screen for possible cancer.
She did really good at the test. It wasn't awful. She is little trooper.
So 1 down 33 more to go.
We are going to try to make it a fun day for her when we have to go.... Fortunately for Ava, she will get to enjoy it too and it will mostly be her enjoying it for the first year!

After the test we took a trip to McDonalds

Then we went to see the movie Bolt in 3D with Grandma, Auntie Em & Uncle Bo

Maddie at her first movie!

And finally a picture of Ava playing Tea Party with Madeline. (Ava wishes that Madeline was actually 3. :) )

After church on Sunday we decided to make a big batch of Monster Cookies! MMMM!!! They are so good. I think each of these cookies have about 500 calories, but they also have oatmeal, so they are healthy right???

God is good and so faithful and He shows it in so many ways.
Today He showed it to me in a way that may be small to most, but was big to me.
Both Ava and Madeline are sound asleep.
And our neighbors just dropped off a giant plate of cookies.
God is good.
:)
Here are some pictures!

Maddie telling us ALL about it!!

Ava and her snowman that she "made"

This is a cute baby!
